Data2Action: MSCA network to fund 13 doctoral fellows to work on social innovation and AI

Data2Action is an ambitious new research and development network that will show social pioneers how to use data science and AI for public good. Its purpose is to train a cohort of PhD fellows to find the most effective, ethical and responsible ways to integrate data science and artificial intelligence (AI) with social innovation.

By working hands-on with a range of sectoral experts, these fellows will go on to help society develop real-world solutions to its most pressing problems — across climate change, social justice, democracy, health, and aging.

Data2Action is recruiting 13 funded doctoral fellows from Europe and beyond to work collaboratively across a range of interconnected cutting-edge research and development projects.

To be eligible, applicants must not already have a doctoral degree, nor have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of recruitment for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the recruitment date.

Applicants must be available full-time to start the program in September 2025. See each position for specific requirements.
