In July 2025, the 5th ISA Forum of Sociology of the International Sociological Association will take place in Rabat, Morocco. For this conference, ESSI member Karina Maldonado-Mariscal (TU Dortmund University) and Juha Tuunainen (University of Oulu) will organise a session on Social Innovation, entitled: “A transformative perspective on social innovation in education”.

Another session on Social Innovation will be realized by Rafael Dias (Unicamp) and Chunron Liu (Fudan University). It will focus on: “Social Innovation, Its Potential and Challenges: Views from the Global South and the Global North”.

A submission of abstracts is now possible.
