Prof. Dr. Anne de Bruin is Director of the New Zealand Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Centre and Professor of Economics, Massey University, New Zealand. Her main research focus is currently on social and responsible innovation and social entrepreneurship. She is published in leading journals including Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development (ER&D) and International Small Business Journal. She is Associate Editor of the Social Enterprise Journal and has co-edited several journal special issues and books, including most recently, ‘The collaborative dynamic in social entrepreneurship’ for ER&D and A Research Agenda for Social Entrepreneurship, Edward Elgar. She was a member of the Advisory Board of the global research project SI-Drive, funded within the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme. Anne is a Fulbright New Zealand Scholar.
