Francesca Rizzo, Ph.D is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Design where she teaches users studies and digital design studio. She is expert in user centric innovation applied to service and interaction design and to public and social innovation. She has been principal investigator and member of  research teams in many EU projects on the fields of Service Design for Smart City and on Social Innovation, as: SIMPACT (FP7), My Neighbourhood (FP7), LIFE 2.0 (FP7) Peripheria (FP7), SIC (H2020), SISCODE (H2020). She is author of many international publications.
