Steven Dhondt

Steven Dhondt has a doctoral degree in social sciences and is senior researcher at TNO and professor at the University of Leuven (Belgium). His main focus is on the impacts of the newest technologies on organisational and work practices. He has been involved in research projects in the field of work, technology and health, both qualitative and quantitative, and covering various topics like the quality of work, working conditions, technology and work, social innovation, health and well-being. He currently coordinates the TNO Smart Working-research programme, developing insights on the impacts of robotics and digitization on organisational practices and skills. He managed the European Workplace Innovation Network (EUWIN) for the European Commission (DG GROW). For the coming years, he is coordinating the projects Paradigms4.0 and the H2020 Beyond4.0 on Work in Advanced Manufacturing.
